As you may have heard, the long promised Jetstar patches have arrived. They can be picked up from our admin office, and are to be sewn above the LAV logo on the right side of the athletes uniform, as shown below:
The Jetstar patches are a compulsory part of the club uniform. Because they have been delivered late we will not be enforcing this before the end of the calender year (our last event is on 12 December) – but we will expect compliance in the new year and they will definitely be required for the regional track and field championships to be held at Keilor in late February. All patches are to be sewn and not pinned on.
Because they were delivered late, LAV will not checking these patches on club uniforms for the NMR relay championships this Saturday, but we fully expect that these will be mandated for the state relay championships on December 13th.
Similarly, can all parents remove all existing IGA patches. I noticed a number of these on Saturday – they all need to go.
For those parents with older uniforms without the LAV logo, the Jetstar patch can go in the same position as shown above (on the black top corner). Also these older uniforms will not be allowed at regional or state events.
