2019 State Track & Field Championships

Congratulations to our 46 Keilor athletes that competed over the weekend at the State Track and Field Championships at Casey Athletics Stadium.

This event saw athletes from across the state competing against one another and challenging each other to perform at their very best.

We saw many outstanding performances with Team Keilor collecting 22 medals and most of our 46 athletes achieving personal best performances. A fantastic achievement.

Congratulations to our athletes who achieved multiple medals:

  • Chanachai Kankratok (U/13) winning Gold in Long Jump & Silver in 200 & Bronze in 100m

  • Max Busuttil (U/13) winning Gold in 200m & Silver medal in 100m

  • William Hurt (U/11) winning 3 Silver medals in 100m, 200m & 60m Hurdles

  • Koby Bewick (U/10) winning 2 Bronze medals in 200m & 400m

  • Sienna Gec (U/9) winning 2 Gold medals in 400m & 800m

  • Michael Sayed (U/9) winning Gold in 60m Hurdles and Bronze in 70m

Congratulations to all of TEAM KEILOR, the athletes, families and committee for a great weekend of sportsmanship, wonderful personal best performances and positive support and loud cheering for all our athletes. A fantastic effort.
