Entries now open! - 2025 Centre Champs - Sat 22nd March 2025, 9am to around 2pm

Centre Champs is coming - the highlight of the year for some athletes, this is the one event of the year where the emphasis is on placings rather than PBs.

First, second and third placings all get medals, and for laned events, there may be heats to get into the finals.

Entry is FREE to all athletes who meet our participation requirements, and where their parents have met their duty requirements.

These links also provide the ability to enter the very popular Tim Golder/Zulk Haider 100m and Warren Hosking 800m Handicap events, (U7 and older). The heats of the 100m handicap will be held on Saturday 15th March 2025 (our last day of regular competition). The finals for the 100m handicap, and the whole of the 800m handicap, will be held on our presentation day on 29 March 2025.

ENTRIES STRICTLY CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT ON SATURDAY 15TH MARCH 2025

So what to do next?

You can start the process by entering at the links below. You will note that athletes can enter a maximum of 4 events, being one short distance, long distance (obviously age appropriate), one throw and one jumping event.

FAQs

What happens if I enter late?

Every year at least one family misses out because their entries were not submitted on time. This may sound harsh, but as soon as the entries close we begin a complex program of scheduling events and assigning individual athletes to the events they have entered. Even if we wanted to - it can be very hard to fit new athletes in.

Can we wait until we see what other athletes have entered?

We never publish the entries for each event until after the entries have closed - and prior to this, only three people ever have access to this list.

How do I avoid entering late?

Enter now, and this way you will avoid this risk. As stated above, we will never release the list of entries for each event until after entries have closed.

What happens if I change my mind?

We will only recognise the first entry. If you enter again, we will ignore the second and later entries.
